Advanced Open Water

Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
The Advanced Open Water Diver course allows students to explore additional diving related interests. After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:
Altitude Diver
AWARE Fish Identification
Boat Diver
Drift Diver
Deep Diver
Dry Suit Diver
Dive Propulsion Vehicle
Multilevel Diver
Night Diver
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery
Underwater Naturalist
Underwater Videographer
Underwater Photographer
Underwater Navigator
Wreck Diver 

How long will it take?
Adventures in Diving takes place at Dutch Springs and takes one weekend to complete. The five selected dives are performed over those two days and complete briefings and debriefings take place. Successful completion of the Advanced Open Water Diver Course allows the divers to participate in dives up to 100 ft deep and enrich your diving experiences. The Advanced Open Water course is offered on almost every weekend we have Check Out dives scheduled.

What will I need?
Student will need to purchase course material including the Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak, Adventures in Diving Video and Log Book and prepare at home prior to the in water portion of the program.
